Agreement on the Collection and Use of Personal Information (Required)

1. Purpose of Collection and Use
Processing applications and admissions for programs operated by Yonsei University Office of International Affairs
Reporting to the Ministry of Education

2. Personal Information Collected
Required: Name, email, date of birth, nationality, permanent address, telephone number, home university, university address, major, year of study, GPA, photo, passport number
Optional: Name in Korean, emergency contact (name, relationship, phone number)

3. Retention Period

• 5 years: For processing and data verification purposes
• Permanently retained: Program participant information will be permanently recorded in academic records.

4. Right to Refuse and Consequences
You have the right to refuse the collection and use of your personal information. However, if you do not agree to the required terms, you will not be able to apply for admission to the program.

1. Purpose of Collection and Use
Issuing certificates and student insurance coverage

2. Personal Identification Number Collected
Required: Passport number, Personal Identification Number

3. Retention Period

• 5 years (for processing and data verification purposes).

4. Right to Refuse and Consequences
You have the right to refuse the collection and use of your personal information. However, if you do not agree, you will not be able to apply for admission to the program.

The Yonsei University Office of International Affairs will provide your personal information to third parties as follows:

Right to Refuse and Consequences

You have the right to refuse the provision of your personal information to third parties. However, if you do not agree to the required terms, you will not be able to apply for admission to the program.

Documenting the program’s history and producing promotional videos and photos

Photos and videos 

3. Retention Period
Promotional videos and photos will be permanently retained. 

4. Right to Refuse and Consequences
You have the right to refuse the collection and use of your photos and videos. If you do not agree, any photos or videos of you will be deleted.

To promote Yonsei University and its academic programs

2. Personal Information Collected
Name, email address, home university/institution name, major (field of study)

3. Retention Period
5 years

4. Right to Refuse and Consequences
You have the right to refuse the use of your personal information for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not agree, you will not receive promotional materials regarding Yonsei University and its academic programs.

 

You have the right to disagree to the collection and use of your personal information and provision of personal information to third parties. If you disagree with any of the equired agreements, you will not be able to apply for admission to Yonsei International Summer School.
