Some students may be required to obtain a visa to study in Korea, even for programs under 90 days, depending on their nationality.
1. Contact the Korean Embassy/Consulate
Confirm whether a visa is required & which type of visa is needed for the YISS program (depends on nationality and Embassy/Consulate's guideline)

✔ No visa required: Enter Korea with your passport (Passport must be valid at least 6 months after the program ends)

D-2-8 (Short-term Study) Visa
Requires Certificate of Admission (CoA) issued by the YISS office.
Other visas (C-3-1 etc.)
Must apply independently (YISS Office provides Letter of Admission and Business Registration Certificate only)
Apply for the Certificate of Admission (CoA) via the “Visa Application” menu in the application system >>> COA APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN (March 30)
